“ The breakfast burrito was exceptional and Massive. Loaded with even amount of ingredients it was very good. Patio was nice and the service was good and pretty quick. The Pumpkin Spice Latte was delicious and sweet and also bigger than I expected. I would unquestionably come again! ”
“ The food is wonderful! The atole is perfection! Creamy and sweet. The veggie hash with eggs was Dow right delicious. Admittedly, I was a little hesitant because I heard it had switched owners - but I found out it was the manager who took over the place ("Blue Sky Cafe") and that proved to be a very good thing because sure the food is just as amazing as ever! The back patio is adorable. Only thing I wasn't overjoyed about was the way they moved the counter up and blocked one of the side doors. They also removed the cute drawings and notes that were under the glass top on the tables, which made me sad because my late husband and I had left a note and it was gone. Aside for that, I was happy to visit again! It has been years since I moved across town. ”
“ Food: Blue corn waffles are quite unique and have a lovely corn flavor without losing the texture of a good waffle. Chile sauce was fantastic and local to the area. Beans were everything I hoped they would be. Service: I was treated kindly by the staff - very friendly and down to earth. Atmosphere: In a pueblo style house but I sat outside. They have a great shaded patio and a lot of space. ”
“ This place is now called Blue Sky. The food was great. I had a Big Burrito with calabacitas and Christmas chile. My wife had a vegetable hash, with eggs and a flour tortilla. Let me tell you: When they say it's a big burrito, believe them. This thing was massive. I usually eat vegan, but I let this meal have some meat (in the red chile) and chicken stock (in the green chile) and cheese. It would be even more filling if you got one of these with carne adovada. The service was quick for how busy the place was on a Sunday afternoon. One thing that's good for vegans and vegetarians to know is that they are fully ready to make most any meal vegetarian or vegan. They have vegan chiles and have no issue with holding the cheese. ”
“ Wow. Just wow. Great food. Great prices. You won't find too many places like this. Small place, self service options but man was this special. ”
“ We had breakfast here and it was amazing!! Great service & great food. The breakfast bowl with green sauce is a must! ”
“ Great place for tasty and super reasonably priced brunch! I've been on a frito pie kick lately, and their breakfast take on it is perfect. The carne was so tender and flavorful. We loved the sweet waffles too - bacon and blue corn together? Yes please. I appreciate that they have an option for pure maple syrup too! We went on a chilly Sunday morning, and it was a little cold inside the restaurant, so just be ready to stay bundled. Otherwise everything else was a great experience! We didn't have any wait on that early Sunday morning. ”
“ We went on a Thursday right after they opened so they were not busy at all and we were helped right away. When you come in the menus are by the door so if you missed them you have to walk back and get them.. you order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. It is in a two story structure that feels like it might have been a house.. had enough seating for us but large groups would struggle to find seating in the area we saw. What we liked: the kids options were great... eggs and a waffle with berries was a perfect amount for our little one... the blue corn gluten free waffle was very good. Both their green and red chili options are gluten free which is so rare! My plate did come out with a flour tortilla on the side which was not as ordered and they quickly remedied. It would be a five star, to me, if the coffee were fresh brewed and stronger. They had the coffee on a table in warmers and it was not anything to write home about. The whipped cream didn't seem to be homemade... homemade whipped cream would have taken the waffles to the next level. I'd recommend the whipped cream on the side if you get the waffle plate... that way if you don't love it everything isn't coated in it. ”
“ Fast service and friendly business. I came here to grab a take out order on my lunch break. This is a lot of food! The tamales were very tasty, loved the spice level! The papitas were very good as well. The salad gets too warm with the fries and tamales though. ”
